Retraction of false accusations and defamatory statements by members of the Citoyen Clarence-Rockland Citizen Facebook group against Councillor Campeau (Ward 7)
Members of the Facebook group Citoyen Clarence-Rockland Citizen, Jean-Yves Pigeon (also President of the C-R Citizens Committee - aka "Facebook Committee") and Gilles Cléroux retracted their false accusations and defamatory statements against Councillor Campeau (Ward 7).
On March 1st, 2012, the two made comments about "attempts of intimidation" against a local contract by Councillor Campeau in order to gain special favours. Both retracted their statements and apologised to Councillor Campeau for their comments.
